The beginning of this process can be seen in Stripped and Sanded and also the sound board work has the first image of stain.
The bottom is masked off to keep everything clean while the piano is being sprayed.
Spraying begins. This is the wash coat prior to wood filling.
2-11-08 The piano has been wood filled, sealed and this is now six coats of lacquer. The piano will be carefully rubbed and six more coats of lacquer.
2-11-08 The new bridges were set in hight, down bearing established before finishing the outside. Once the outside is done, the sound board will get it's finish coats including the sound board decal.
