It is worth noting the overall condition is damaged extensivly. The following photo's show only a portion of what the actual repair to the case and parts involved.
All of the damaged veneer was removed and replaced. Cauls needed to be made to accuratly match the shapes the veneer was being glued to.  Any irregular shape will result in incomplete adhesion of the veneer to the base surface.
The veneer was removed from ALL top surfaces as well as the fronts of the arns. This is the entire outer rim, as well as the tops and fronts of the arms. New moulding was fitted to the top front. Please note in the photograph below, at the top, the crooked and broken aspect of the top of the rim.
